📝 Aperçu

Your day starts from the moment you meet your drivers where they take you to your first stop at the Aposelimi dam. Continuing our journey along Embasa Gorge thru little villages where time virtually stood still you can enjoy amazing views and the flora and fauna alongside, picking herbs on the way. From here we make our way to a magnificent viewpoint where we can see the Minoan path and the first sitting of the Lassithi Plateau. Making our way down onto the Plateau we head to a Ceramic workshop and olive oil factory. There will be plenty of time for our little friends to learn the secrets of pottery and to make their own creations. Next stop, is the Zeus’ Cave (where mythology says that Zeus, the father of all the gods was born!) there is a 6€ entrance fee and walking shoes are recommended. When you reach the top of the cave this gives you the opportunity to take photographs as if with a helicopter's view of the Lassithi Plateau. Afterwards, we stop in a taverna for a traditional meal consisting of different starters, a main course and desert, accompanied with local wine and water. Last stop of the day is the village of Krassi, which is famous for a 2,000-year old plane tree and has a natural spring water source. This is a day full of many surprises, the excitement is the best, and you certainly will not forget your fun day out!
